High-temperature Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) / Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) instrument developed by Polymer Char is a fully-automated system that uses highly sensitive Infrared detection for Molecular Weight and Chemical Composition analysis of polyolefins.

GPC-IR® is a high-performance GPC instrument that uses infrared detection to analyze polyolefins. This type of detection provides superior results, including a more stable baseline and the ability to simultaneously measure concentration and chemical composition. GPC-IR® can be used to characterize a wide range of polyolefins, including HDPE, PP, LDPE, LLDPE, EP copolymers, EVA, and EBA.

GPC-QC is a compact, high-temperature GPC instrument that is used to control the quality of polyolefins in production plants. It delivers complete molecular weight distribution (MWD) information for one sample in as little as 30-40 minutes, including dissolution. The entire process is fully automated, which eliminates the need for manual handling of solvents or vials. This makes GPC-QC a valuable tool for quality control in polyolefin production plants.
